MicrosoftXP: 06/06/09 It's been a while since I've updated the site or done anything war 3 related, but I was watching some of the old tournament replays and decided to clean things up a little. Added replay downloads to the brackets page, and updated the replay links on the homepage. Also added Warcraft v1.14b game files to get the correct wc3 version. The AwaKening: 01/21/06 Version 3.8b is ready for download. I apologize for the short time between 3.8 and 3.8b, but a rather impacting exploit was discovered and needed to be taken care of. Get a changelog as well as download the map by following the forum link.
I'm going to be busy the next couple of weeks with moving, so don't expect to see me around a lot. I plan to work on updating the website when I return. The AwaKening: 12/17/05 Version 3.5 is ready for download. New content with minor bugs and typo fixes. Bonus racial shops now have a race specific trainer to purchase. Omnislash ability added to a rare gamble item. Get the complete changelog by following the forum link and click on Official Map Announcements. The map can also be downloaded in the same area. I will shortly be adding a section to list all new items including recipes I've added into the map.The AwaKening: 05/13/05 Rival Nations 2.8 is complete. Follow the forum links for the changelog and download. Balance fixes, bugs, and a new area added. Up/Down and Order commands also working now (Thanks Sadism). The AwaKening: 04/29/05 I've taken over the map for TFT since version 2.0b. I've released quite a few versions since, the most current being 2.7. MicrosoftXP has been kind enough to put a link in his forum to my own where you can make suggestion and talk in general with other players. You can also download my newest version from there and get a changelog for all previous versions. I'm currently working on 2.7b to make minor adjustments including a new spawn for dead heroes. Just follow the forum link up top and go to rival nations section.MicrosoftXP: 11/05/04 I've begun work on a new modding website called Digital Realm. You can go there by following the FORUM link at the top. I will likely be creating a RN forum soon, however I don't plan on posting there much if at all and I have no plans at this time to continue to update RN.MicrosoftXP: 05/28/04 The reference section has been updated.MicrosoftXP: 05/27/04 x2.0b is ready for download. x2.0 was aparently released prematurely and there was a bug that needed squashing. I'll try to get the reference section updated soon.MicrosoftXP: 05/13/04 I've been working on x2.0 lately and been making some excellent progress. I have added the new Goblin Tinker hero, although with some small changes from the ladder version. I feel like I've sufficiently solved the problem where if a player loses some 5 or 6 heros at once they will have them all back within 5 to 6 minutes for free. I'm hoping this will make problems like barracks suiciding or losing every hero to kill a high bounty player and score a ton of cash a much less desirable course of action. As well I've included an enhancement to the Level 3 Magic upgrade which will make 'sniping' a barracks much much more difficult. Also options such as trainers and upgrades are much more effective than they are now, and can be used as an actual strategy to win to the game. Farm upgrades require a little less lumber which should allow players to hire mercenaries, buy upgrades or build up a massive army to overwhelm the enemy. Also all the level 1 upgrades have been significantly dropped in price to encourage more early upgrading. Some heros have been balanced, and most of the 1.15 patch changes have been implemented. A number of major bugs have been fixed, including the Amulet of Spell shield (finally) and the dissapearing hero bug (phew). I've also changed the blade master some. He is MUCH better now at the start of the game, with higher damage critical strike, faster movement, more powerful windwalk, a lower cooldown on mirror image, and overall better ability to make money and assassinate heros. However the blademaster is not going to be able to do 1000 damage critical strikes in any normal game. I've also closed a huge number of memory leaks which I'm hoping will make the game playable again for a lot of people who don't have the best machines. I'll try to get a complete change list up by the end of the weekend or something, but good things are coming =)MicrosoftXP: 04/16/04 A new Warcraft III patch will be released within the next few weeks, which makes some balance changes to ladder (and RN), but most significantly is the introduction of a new neutral hero. Here is the quoted news from battle.net:
Within the next few weeks, we will release a new patch for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and the expansion set, Warcraft III: The
Frozen Throne. The upcoming patch will include several new features, fixes, and balance changes, including an updated matching system,
completely anonymous free-for-all play, clan ladders (The Frozen Throne only), improved player and clan profiles, and a
new Neutral Hero -- the Goblin Tinker. Full details can be found here.
